Description

Fabulous, stunning oil painting of King David with a lyre by Jerusalem artist Yossi Stern.
Stern was born in Hungary and emigrated to Eretz Israel in 1939. He attended the Bezalel School of Art.
He also studied in the Royal College of Art in London and in Paris.
Stern's works are in the collection of the Israel Museum.
The painting is 12 x 16 inches in a 20 x 24 inch wood frame. The painting is in very good condition.
Signed Stern in Hebrew in the lower right corner
The painting has a gallery label from the Safrai Gallery in Jerusalem who represented Yossi Stern.
The label also has a contact for the Pucker gallery in Boston. The Pucker Gallery had a business relationship with the Safrai Gallery to sell works by Israeli artists in their gallery.
The painting is ready to hang.
