    Description

    This lovely vanity jar has an ornate design with a tall spire on the lid and beaded bands in iridescent lavender. The base material is clear glass with a cloudy/milky color. I am not an expert on antique glass but believe this to be quite old and perhaps French in origin due to its elaborate decoration. There is a rough-textured starburst mark on the bottom so perhaps it is handmade. Roughly 6 inches tall with the lid in place and 4.75 inches across at the widest point. Beautiful condition. I have not been able to find anything else like it in my research, making this a fabulous and rare collector's find!
