Vintage ODE Banjo Neck Style D 5-String 1976

Description

This 5-string neck is probably an ODE factory-second.
Style D which was the gold-plated model.
Mid-to-late 1970’s.
Some finish dings and scratches.
Nice, straight neck with ebony fingerboard.
One side of the 2-piece Walnut neck appears to have a factory-repaired hair-line crack at the heel,  which was
finished over; when this totally solid repair showed faintly through the finish, the neck was set aside and not ultimately
mated with a pot. [Or so we surmise].
Stored all these years in Gretsch’s vast vault.
