Listed here is a vintage mans 25 jewel Rado diastar 1/E automatic date watch to use for a repair project or for parts. The watch has a case that looks to be stainless steel on the bottom with possibly tungsten steel or a hard ceramic on the top(grey material). The case measures approx. 35mm across not inc. the Rado logo crown, and 37mm lug tip to lug tip. The case is showing some scratches and dings to the stainless steel, and the top part of the case is showing some scratches and what looks to be a semi circle shaped crack by the crystal(view photo). The watch has a mat black dial with applied silver tone markers and silver tone hands. The dial is showing some fading, and has a few discolored areas. There is also some scattered dust specks. The hands and markers are showing a bit of light corrosion, and the dial and hands may be showing some signs of very slight moisture damage. The crystal is showing some light scratches, but still looks very usable. The watch has a gold tone 25 jewel Rado marked automatic date movement, that is an ETA cal. 2783. The movement still seems to still wind and set as it should, and the date does have a quick set feature. The balance still looks to have a good staff, but it is not moving as freely as it should. I think the watch needs a good cleaning. The watch comes on a good looking black leather strap with a silver tone buckle. It still looks to be a good vintage mans Rado watch to use for a repair project, or for a good source of parts.  Selling as is with a low start and no reserve. buyer to pay .00 for first class shipping.
