Vintage Kohl Silver container with applicator on chain

Beautiful Silver Kohl Container with applicator and chain, approximately 4" length
Very detailed container used to hold kohl to darken around eyes
Nice hand engraved decoration
I believe this item to be silver and I cleaned the end as shown
It is not magnetic
The chain and applicator may be brass.
