Description

Edgar Dobson...Maybe the least recognized of the famous Dobson Bros,
and possibly the most inventive.
This well-travelled banjo has at the least had a new peghead facing,
and possibly faced other indignities over the course of its 130 year career.
Novel construction sets this banjo apart from some of its contemporaries.
Neck is reasonably straight, but action is high and needs attention.
Post-war friction pegs… the fifth peg seems much older.
Hook and nut sets have been replaced.
