This is a true gem, truly beautiful Vintage Alvarez Denver Belle with a rare Original Case.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description
The Vintage Banjos from Japan were some truly top quality instruments in many cases.  The Alvarez Denver Belle was the top of the line for Alvarez and this is an example of one that was basically untouched.  This is absolutely beautiful and is a truly professional quality piece.
This has a very thick maple shell with a rosewood resonator and I believe a mahogany neck.  The rosewood is probably Brazilian.  The fretboard is rosewood with a Flying Eagle inlay pattern.  There is black and checkered binding on the neck and black and tortoise binding on the resonator.  The front of the resonator also has checkered binding.  There is abalong The headstock is absolutely gorgeous and includes a Sharp Denver Belle Truss Rod Cover.
There also is some gorgeous carving on the neck heel.  It goes around the neck heel and is a very nice touch.
The hardware is chrome and all original and glowing.  The tone ring is a full size 20 hole tone ring and the flange is a 2 piece flange.
The banjo is stunning and includes a very clean original case.
Condition
This banjo was so clean we did not do our normal cleaning job on this.  The hardware is already glowing, already looking untouched.  The wood shines and the frets and fretboard are clean.  There are spikes at the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th frets.  This banjo is phenomenal and the original case is also clean.
Set Up
This was set up at the Banjo Warehouse.  I believe this is the original head and it is set to 90.  I put a Gary Sosebee bridge and the intonation is set.  The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and this is a smoking hot player!!  This banjo is beyond exceptional in every way.
