From our excellent condition inventory of vintage 5 string banjos at PV MUSIC

Made in USA (?) in the early 60's
Refurbished, detailed with new strings and ready to play by RD
Black Finish
Original Remo Banjo Head (?)
Replaced 5th string tuner, and Replaced Nut
Original Machine Tuners ? (we are not sure about that)

You're seeing it just the way re received it
We received it from a friend and "Arizona Mountain Luthier",  RD
He buys used Banjos and fixes them up --  and he always does a great job
So you're seeing a completey refurbished and detailed vintage banjo
Whatever was needed you can bet that RD took care of it
He is an excellent banjo player as well
All we did was clean it up a bit, and test it
There's v
ery minor cosmetic issues
He r
eplaced 5th string machine (which is better)
We are not sure if the machines were replaced, he didn't say
The machine tuners that are on it work great
The Remo banjo head is worn but not torn, and it's tuned up tight
The original bridge was fitted by RD, and it plays great with low action
He said he made and fitted a new fingerboard nut for it
That's about it for issues . . . otherwise it looks all original
(except the machines?, the nut, and the replaced 5th peg)
This banjo is in clean condition with very few scratches or scuffs
He might of touched up the paint with black paint
The headstock shows some wear.
You can see and feel the 3 piece seam on the headstock, but it's firm and not separating
There's no neck breaks, or headstock cracks or structural repairs
The neck is straight
There's NO fret wear --
The fingerboard is in excellent condition
The fretboard feels and plays great --
It plays fast and clean
The Silvertone headstock is in good shape with original Silvertone Logo
How's it sound ? Wow !
The banjo sounds and plays great
It's super loud !
It plays cleanly with super low action
Comes with Original Silvertone Economy Banjo Case
The case is in good shape
The handle is broken but all the latches all work
The case fits the banjo great
