Description

So apparently this old woman walks into a music store in North Carolina looking to sell some cheap guitars and this is in the pile!
Handmade neck of nice figured mahogany, 6 strings in the English style with a slotted peg head. But the pot looks Buckbee to me. I’m assuming it’s an American build.
I cleaned it only lightly and replaced the skin which was shot. The pot is warped but really cool with honest wear. And the neck adjustment contraption is some ingenuity!
It will need a bit of attention to make it a great player, some fret dressing, lower the action perhaps (2/8” where the neck meets the pot) or leave as is. Would be great with some nylguts.
The neck has a very slight forward bow. The extra string makes it fun to play fiddle tunes on.
A rare bird and some old timer’s instrument for years by the looks of it.
No case but will be well packed.
Please ask questions as this will be a final sale.
