    Description

    At auction is an early (circa 1900) Victorian Jewish New Year's Card that was printed in Germany probably by the Hebrew Publishing Company. These cards were very popular in Germany at that time. We acquired this collection many, many years ago as part of an estate.
    Die-cut design with doors that open to all Hebrew text. Happy New Year is written in Hebrew. Doors have embossed celluloid design of red roses that are machine sewed by hand on the edges. Some light pink airbrushing around edges.
