Description
Here's a rare Passover Haggada printed in 1975 in Jerusalem. It's claim to fame is that all of the illustrations were made by the kabbalist and world class artist Tzvi Raphaely.
The drawings/illustrations/paintings are magnificent and VERY colorful.
There are 2 fold out sections where the illustrations are longer than most of the other pages, absolutely beautiful (see scans)!
There are altogether 76 large thick pages in this haggada. Hagada measures 26.5 x 26.5 cm. Jacket cove, haggada in very good condition.

As a personal note which I heard from the artist's family. Rafaeli befriended Marc Chagal, and Chagall told  him once when they had a joint exhibit that he would not want to have a joint exhibit with anyone but him. What a compliment!
Artist Bio: Zvi Raphaeli, Painter and Kabbalist Rabbi. b. 1924 d. 2005, Egypt. Educated in Paris from age three. Immigrated 1945. Studies: Beauxs, Paris; Bezalel, Jerusalem.
