Low-stretch elasticity with excellent knot retention and reusability - easy to tie, untie, and tie again. Before cutting, to prevent unraveling, tape the rope. Cut the rope in the middle of the tape and then reseal with glue or nail polish (flammable - do not seal by attempting to melt).
