Description
THE STAINED GLASS WINDOWS created by Marc Chagall for the Synagogue of the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center in Jerusalem, represent the twelve sons of Jacob, from whom came the Twelve Tribes of Israel. Each arch-shaped artwork piece represents one of the twelve sons. You are bidding on a Lot of 5 original wood based pieces from the early 1960's featuring images of 5 of those stained glass windows. My parents bought these from an Judaica import store in New York City. Each measures approx. 9" L x 6-3/4" W and are designed on 1/4" thick press-board with gold trimmed edges. Ready to hang/display, each retains it's original hanging hook on back, and their original store label and price from back in the last mid-century! .95 can you imagine?!
They are in very nice well-kept estate condition and come from my parent's smoke-free home.
Please check out all photos as they are part of the item description and ask any questions before you bid. I promise to respond to the best of my ability. Thank you for looking!
