The art of Leon Azoulay is unique. All the paintings are constructed of texts of the Hebrew Scriptures in the original Hebrew letters.
Leon Azoulay was born in Morocco in 1945. He immigrated to Israel and studied graphics and fine art.
Leon Azoulay has exhibited his work extensively. He has a permanent exhibition of his paintings at his gallery in the Old City of Tsfat. He held one man shows in Lille France in 1990, in Montreal in 1993 and Boca Raton in 1995.
