Description
I am selling 4 lithographic pages taken from the book BIBLE By Marc Chagall printed in France in 1956. You will be getting (according to the numbers appearing on the bottom of each lithographic print) altogether FOUR lithographic prints, BUT each page contains 1 print on each side (so you can actually frame just 1 at any one time).
81 - Solomon on his Throne ( 1 Kings 10:18ff)
82 - Prophet who rebelled (1 Kings 13:24-28)
85 - Elijah and the sacrifice on the Carmel (1 Kings18:36ff)
86 - Elijah on Mt. Carmel (1 Kings 18:41ff)
These prints are in black and white and measure 10 1/4 x 14 inches and are suitable to frame and hang in your home or office. Very good condition, some age stains. Number 87 has a tear on the margins not affecting the print. I've scanned the blue cover of the book which these prints came from (you will not be getting the cover).
