The colorful silk screen created by Eliezer Weishoff,
featuring a peacock hovering above an imaginary Jerusalem.
Two sculpted peacocks surround the print in a flowing motion.
The verse "AS BIRDS FLYING SO WILL THE LORD DEFEND JERUSALEM" (Isaiah 31:5),
appears in Hebrew along the upper border and in English along the lower border.
The artist's signature is embossed close to the lower edge.
In poems by Haim Nahman Bialik, Israel's national poet, and the Yiddish poet Itzhak Manger,
the peacock hovering above the city of Jerusalem is an expression of the yearning for
spiritual enrichment - a place of fullness and untold splendor.
