This is a rare one of a kind bronze commemorative plaque to honor David Ben-Gurion. 1886-1973.
This weighs 6 lbs and the dimensions are 9.0" W x 0.5" H x 12.75" D.
This beautiful detailed bronze sculpted plaque has articulated David-Ben Gurion into a realistic portraiture complete with detailed wrinkles, hair placement, and gazing eyes. The patina of the bronze casts a glow on Ben-Gurion’s face, highlighting his raised facial structures. This bronze sculpture has hebrew and english words and numbers. The striking portrait seems to come to life in the profound remembrance of this great man and his contributions. Most impressive are the lighted menorah on each side of a circled view of the magnificent Israel.
David Ben-Gurion was the primary national founder of the State of Israel and the first Prime Minister of Israel.
He is revered and admired for his contributions to the state of Israel. I am proud to offer this incredible commemorative plaque and hope it will be cherished by the new owners.
On the back of this bronzed plaque are two holes for hanging. There is also a raised place to hang this.
There are minimal signs of verdigris to the back.
This plaque is in excellent artistic shape with no dents, chips, or damage. The general patina has the natural aging over time with bronze. This aging is what gives the bronze its highlights and beautiful sheen. Over time the bronze will continue to enhance the sculpted details of the artist.
