Up for sale is a lot of 65 photos of Betar Movement in eastern Europe during the 1920’s-1930’s. photos were taken mostly in Romania (Chernivtsi) and Poland (Katowice/ Kattowitz). Many beautiful and RARE group photos of the Betar Movement members. Photos with BETAR (Beitar) uniforms and hats with beautiful golden Menorah pin, while members are holding photos of Joseph Vladimirovich Trumpeldor, Theodor Herzl & Ze’ev Jabotinsky. Also, including photos of members working in construction.
Also including are 2 photomontage photos of two BETAR members on a boat named “Zvuloon” (“Zvulon”). Zvulon was the first Jewish Marine Association in Palestine (founded in 1928 by Jabotinsky). Also, many earlier family photos of the members, taken in various locations in Poland/eastern Europe. One photo of a Jewish soldier in Paris, 1946, after world war two (ww2). A few photos of Palestine, Tel Aviv, after the family made Aliyah.
