Antique Apollo Brass Jeweled Hair Brush - Early 1900's
Details:
Apollo Studios produced this lovely hairbrush during the early 1900s.
Featuring heavy intricate ormolu or brass, reticulated filigree with floral openwork and a large, centered, prong set, beveled amber glass jewel with beige satin lining beneath.
Brush length is 10 & 1/4 inches total
Handle alone is 5 & 1/2 inches
Width is 3 inches
All bristles are intact
Some people prefer the old look. Others prefer it shined. So I have left the item as is. Shining & detailing will be up to buyer.
Excellent pre-owned condition. Just n
eeds a little cleaning if you want it shiny.
It is a gorgeous brush which would be great for grooming use, or as a nice vanity décor for your bedroom dressing table.
