I'm selling here on Ebay 3 different REPLICA'S of the silver coins minted during the Wars of the Jews against the Roman occupation forces towards the end of the Second Temple period. These copies are true in detail and size of the original coins minted by the rebels. They are silver PLATED and in very fine and new condition.This is a silver plated coin from the
Bar Kokhba revolt dated to about
Jerusalem 134-135
. This is of course a FACSIMILE/FAKE coin and is only being sold for educational purposes
. It's a "tetradrachm coin. Letters on coin say "Simon" in Paleo-Hebrew characters and depicts the facade of the 2nd Temple of Jerusalem. In the middle is the Show bread table in chest form with semicircular lid and short legs and above that a star.
On the reverse is depicted a lulav and Etrog (used during the Biblical Holiday of Tabernacles=Sukkot) and in ancient Hebrew the letters state "To the freedom of Jerusalem".
