    EVAPORATORS
The AC Evaporator is a heat exchanger which is made of aluminum tubes and fins that help remove heat. As cold refrigerant flows through the evaporator core, the heat from the warmer inside cabin air passing over the evaporator fins will transfer its thermal energy (heat) in the cooler refrigerant, lowering the air’s temperature. This process also removes humidity which turns in to condensation in the evaporator box then later exit underneath the vehicle.
    Features
Tubes and fins are manufactured from high grade aluminum to improve longevity.
Precision cut and stamped aluminum plates reduce weight and increase lifespan of the Evaporator.
Tubing - Meets OE wall thickness and specifications Fitting Tube Design
Tubes and fines wall Thickness Meets OE Specification
Evaporator are built application specific per OEM size and color
    When to replace?
Evaporator should be replace anytime they are damage. When damage they leak refrigerant and oil which can cause oil starvation on the A/C Compressor. Resulting in internal damage or premature clutch wear. Another reason to replace is when the system is too contaminated to flush 100% clean. To ensure a 100% clean system to prevent any damage to new ac components.
Comfort Auto carries one of the most comprehensive lines of evaporators in industry today. Our applications include models ranging from 1978 through 2014. Our inventory spans all three major evolutionary models: (Aluminum Tube and Fin, Serpentine, Plate Fin). And we stock a full line of evaporators in both left-hand drive and right-hand drive applications for automotive, light trucks, heavy duty trucks, buses and off-road equipment.
