  • Condition: ☆☆☆ Fits most 1973-76 General motors listed in eBay's Application Guide, but please confirm your car uses a VIR as some 1973 & 1974 models don't use a VIR. ☆☆☆ VIR Eliminator/Upgrade assembly (replaces part #15-5112 & 15-560) for all stock applications that use a VIR. A VIR Eliminator/Upgrade valve is used to enable cars equipped with a VIR to be converted to 134a, since the original VIR cannot be used with 134a. It works a little differently than the original VIR in that it cycles the cars air-conditioning compressor on/off using a thermostat.  The only alteration to the system is splicing the wiring for the thermostat into the wire leading to the compressor. There is no modification to the hoses or lines. WHAT IS INCLUDED: Accumulator, Pressure switch, harness & wire splices, Expansion valve & all necessary o-rings.
