    Framus “Texan Style” banjo 1973?
    Framus 13220 "Texan Series" 5-string banjo. They Made two models, a 4 string and a 5 string. These were made from the 60s to early 70s. This one I believe is a 1973. They have a unique tail piece/"horseshoe" only on the Framus. It has a plastic drum/pot. You can see in the pics where the plastic split on the edge of the pot. It sounds AMAZING and is in fantastic condition. It's a bluegrass style banjo. Framus was in west Germany, where the banjo was made. Many musicians such as Elvis, John Lennon and Paul McCartney used a Framus banjo. The case is included. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks for looking.
