    Description
    This banjo is a collection of parts that include some 1960's RB250 parts,  Stanleytone, and a neck made by Clancy Mullins.  This banjo is made to be a 1960's RB250 banjo including a fantastic copy of a RB250 Bowtie neck.  This is a fantastic instrument that has been set up and is ready to go.
    The Shell and Tone Ring came out of a Stanleytone banjo and includes a Cox no hole raised head tone ring.  The neck and resonator are mahogany and this has a rosewood fretboard with bowtie inlay.   The neck is a Clancy Mullins neck and the resonator is a 1960's RB250 resonator.
    The tension hoop, flange and hooks and nuts are from a 1960's RB250 on top of the resonator.  This has a one piece armrest and a modern Presto tailpiece.
    This is a parts banjo but it's a parts banjo with some really strong parts.  It also has been put together really well, this is a pro quality banjo.   This also includes a hardshell case with a fake "The Gibson" on the case. The case is not a Gibson case but it is a quality case that says The Gibson.
    Condition
    This banjo is in really good shape.   The finish on the neck and resonator looks great.  The fretboard is in great shape and the frets are clean as well.  There are spikes at frets 7 and 9.
    The hardware looks great with minimal evidence of any kind of use.  On top of the banjo being in really good shape the case is clean inside and out.
    Set Up
    The head is a Remo frosted head which is set to 90.  The banjo has a quality bridge and Huber Truetone strings.
    Not only does this have some really good parts the banjo is properly assembled and set up to maximize it's potential.  If you are into these old Bowtie banjos and want one supercharged with a top quality rim and tone ring this banjo is ready to go!
