19-pin Soca Alignment Tool
Concert Support Services Soca style alignment tool (patent pending)
Disconnect cable before using this tool! This tool is used to align spun
19 pin connectors as a temporary repair to allow them to be used as
intended. Identify pins 1 and 12 (these will be marked as circuit 1 live
and circuit 6 neutral or have small numbers molded into the plastic and
are usually hard to see).
Line them up with the 2 small notches on one side of the tool. Place
the tool over the pins and seat it. Rotate the insert of the connector
until the large notch in the tool lines up with the indexing pin or notch
on the shell of the connector. We recommend adding a short cable to
the spun connector after it is aligned and marking it as not to be
broken.
If the spun connector is a female, use 6d 2” nails that have been
blunted through the tool to engage the contacts (six of these are
included with the tool). These are slightly smaller than the male
contact and will mate solidly with the female sockets/
